Cubs Win! Cubs Win! Cubs Win!
It's been awhile since I've updated, work got pretty heavy in the month of September plus the drive to The Central Division Championship was quite a bumpy road, between cheering on The Cubs from the seats of the Bleachers, to actually cheering on The Cards and The Padres. The Cubs finally made it last night with a great win over the Reds and The Brewers blowing it against The Padres. Thanks to Greg Maddux, who I'm sure will come back to haunt us as we progress thru the playoffs. And how bout Dem Mets? I think they might take the place of the 1969 Cubs.
We will start getting back to our regular schedule here at The Beef Sandwich. Here's some Cub tidbits for you to enjoy and some songs to get you on the bandwagon. Note to television sports guys from TBS, Fox, and ESPN please don't use the word Cub Nation to describe Cub Fans.
